A military recruiter shot and killed his wife while she was being interviewed by an NCIS investigator about allegations of abuse she made about her husband, according to police.
The Harris County, Texas, Sheriff’s Office said two people were shot. The wife of the recruiter was pronounced dead at the scene and one of the NCIS agents in serious condition, according to police.

The woman who was killed was reportedly holding her child, who was not harmed in the incident. The suspect fled the scene but was eventually found and was killed after gunfire was exchanged between him and police, per authorities.
The incident occurred at the 12500 block of Tullich Run in Atascocita, Texas.
