The motive for the shooting was not immediately clear, but police said they believe one or more assailants in a silver vehicle had fired the shots. Officers were in the area around 9:30 p.m. local time when the shooting took place and were able to arrive on the scene quickly, according to police.
Authorities believe the silver car fled the scene traveling east and are asking the public for help identifying the driver.
Witnesses in the area claimed to hear a rapid succession of loud bangs followed by a swarm of police vehicles, about a dozen of which were on the scene after the shooting.
