House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) made a special Pride Month appearance on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars in which she said drag is “what America is all about.”
Toward the end of episode five of the seventh season, which aired May 30 and is available on Paramount Plus, RuPaul Charles told the drag queens, “There’s someone I want you to meet. Please give a warm drag race welcome to the speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi.”

Pelosi then walked out donning a bright-yellow pantsuit.
“It’s my honor to be here,” she said. “Thank you for the joy and beauty you bring to the world.”
“Your freedom of expression, of yourselves in drag, is what America is all about. I say that all the time to my friends in drag,” the speaker continued.
Prompted to share words of wisdom, Pelosi explained that the most important thing they can do is vote. “The midterm election is coming up. It’s very important for people to make their voices and their vote heard.”

“Can I get an amen?” she asked the drag queens.
Pelosi previously appeared on the reality competition series in 2018.
