A person has been arrested after a robbery at the Phoenix campaign office of Arizona gubernatorial hopeful Katie Hobbs.
Police revealed they made an arrest at a commercial burglary that occurred near where the Hobbs’ campaign break-in took place, but when pressed for comment by the Washington Examiner, the Phoenix Police Department said it “will not be identifying victims.” Multiple reports indicate the arrest pertains to the Hobbs robbery.

The break-in took place overnight Monday into Tuesday morning and security footage captured an individual walking up to the office door, 3TV/CB5 reported. “Several items” had been snatched from the office during the incident.
Police previously said they were combing through security camera footage and had been mulling through leads in the case.
“Earlier this week, a break-in occurred at our campaign headquarters. We continue to cooperate with the law enforcement as they investigate, and we are thankful to the men and women of the Phoenix Police Department for their work to keep us safe,” a Hobbs campaign spokesperson said in a statement Wednesday.
Hobbs is currently trailing her Republican rival Kari Lake by 4.6 percentage points, according to the latest RealClearPolitics polling aggregate. She has refused to square off against Lake in a debate.
