Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy continued to point to Ronna McDaniel‘s actions as “automatically disqualifying for the RNC.”

Ramaswamy appeared on Fox News Live on Saturday to react to the RNC chairwoman’s recent statements in a television interview. McDaniel was asked about Ramaswamy’s comments to remove her from her position in the committee during the third GOP debate.

GOP PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES WARNED AGAINST PARTICIPATING IN IOWA THANKSGIVING EVENT

“Listen, he’s at 4%. He needs a headline,” McDaniel said of Ramaswamy. “Now, the RNC doesn’t do state races. We’re a federal committee, so we weren’t involved in those races. I know Vivek’s newer to the party. He voted for Obama, so he may not know that, but this is something we’re going to have to get right as a party.”

“It is shameful that the RNC, first of all, flat out lying on national television. I never voted for Obama once in my life. I think it is pathetic, shameful, and dishonest and automatically disqualifying for the RNC,” Ramaswamy said in response. “A supposedly neutral arbiter, the chair of the RNC, to hit me with a national falsehood like that. I would say that was false, damaging, and malicious intent because Ronna was also somebody who was booing for me while she was sitting in the audience during the debate, said the RNC wouldn’t give me another cent because I called out her failures. It’s not her money.”

According to Ramaswamy, the years McDaniel has been in charge have been “disastrous for the Republican Party.” And he repeated his calls for her resignation.

“In many ways, day after day, she is proving my point about the corruption of the RNC,” Ramaswamy said.

As the youngest candidate in the race for 2024, Ramaswamy is trailing behind Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, who both are paling in comparison to former President Donald Trump. Another four candidates remain in the race for the Republican nomination for president.
