Georgia Republican congressman is one of her party's highest-profile House members.

It’s never too early to visit New Hampshire. That’s a longtime mantra among political professionals about future presidential candidates. And Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) seems to have taken note.

MTG is among the few House members well known enough to go by her initials. And the conservative firebrand is set to headline an Oct. 30 fundraising dinner for the Grafton County Republican Committee. The 5:30 p.m. Eastern time event will be held at The Lake House at Owl’s Nest Resort, 40 Clubhouse Lane, Thornton, New Hampshire, 03285.

BIDEN CLOSED Q3 WITH MORE CASH ON HAND THAN ENTIRE GOP FIELD

The event is set for one of New Hampshire’s more rural counties, in the state’s north-central sector, along the Vermont state line. It’s not a part of New Hampshire presidential candidates visit as much as the state’s southern tier, stretching from the coastal city of Portsmouth west to Keene. That’s where the bulk of New Hampshire’s population lives, with most residents less than a 45-minute drive south to the Massachusetts state line and the greater Boston area.

So, MTG is a serious draw for a county Republican Party event. She’s known for tussling with fellow lawmakers of both parties and, in her first term, was kicked off House committee by Democrats, who were in the majority, for violent remarks she made previously about then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), among others.

Ticket prices for the Oct. 30 MTG event range from $85 for a single dinner ticket to $1,000, which includes two VIP dinner tickets “and a signed MTG branded item.”

To be sure, MTG is not running for the 2024 Republican nomination. The outspoken populist conservative is a big supporter of former President Donald Trump, who leads the first-in-the-nation primary field over rivals such as his vice president during their 2017-21 terms, Mike Pence. Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, a member of the Trump-Pence administration for nearly two years as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, is gaining steam in New Hampshire, polls show.

But it’s an open question just what the 2024 Granite State primary field will look like. Other Trump rivals for the nomination include middling to weak candidates, such as Gov. Doug Burgum (R-ND), former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, and Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC). They’re all vying for the right to face President Joe Biden, who faces only nuisance primary rival Marianne Williamson, a self-help guru who has lost several political races. Independent presidential candidates Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Kennedy family scion and COVID-19 conspiracy theorist, and far-left former Harvard and Princeton professor Cornel West are also running.

Many of these candidates have been in New Hampshire since before the 2024 cycle began, as MTG will be ahead of the 2028 presidential race. Trump is limited to a single White House term since he was already in office for four years. And Biden will be out of office in 2028 should he win reelection next year.

MTG also has a book being released on Nov. 21, with her initials as the title, by the Trump-aligned Winning Team Publishing.

Presidential candidates are increasingly making scheduling plans in a narrow time frame as the Iowa caucuses approach on Jan. 15 (Republicans only), followed soon after by the New Hampshire primary, Nevada primary, and South Carolina primary on Feb. 24.

Still, some planned candidate appearances are booked. Here are campaign events scheduled and local and state Republican Party gatherings at which 2024 hopefuls are likely to show up.
