Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) blasted Hunter Biden for his artwork on Monday, comparing the paintings to those of his children.
DeSantis dismissed the first son’s artistic career in an interview with Fox News’s Bret Baier.
WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT FORMER HUNTER BIDEN BUSINESS PARTNER DEVON ARCHER
“Hunter, he’s selling paintings for over $1 million? My 6-year-old daughter does better paintings than him. Maybe we’ll put ours up and see what kind of things she can fetch. I don’t think you’re going to get a million dollars on it,” the Florida governor said.
His comments come after House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) asked for documents stemming from a purchase of Biden’s art pieces by Elizabeth Hirsch Naftali, a Democratic donor.
Naftali purchased the piece for as much as $500,000 from the Georges Berges Gallery. Comer is seeking any documents and communication between the White House, Naftali, and Berges, who served as Biden’s gallerist.

Devon Archer, Hunter Biden’s former business partner, testified before the House Oversight Committee behind closed doors on Monday about Hunter Biden’s business dealings. He testified that Joe Biden would be dialed into business meetings but only to “sell the illusion of access to his father.”
