A Roseanne Comedy Special will be released in the first quarter of 2023, marking the comedian’s first stand-up special in 16 years.

In 2018, Barr’s sitcom, Roseanne, was canceled after a tweet she wrote mocking former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett.

“Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj,” she had written. Barr was called out for the tweet, which many criticized as racist.
