Sam’s Club will offer an annual membership to its warehouse store for $8 this month.

The discounted cost of membership will be available from Jun 17-26. This comes just as gas prices are hitting historic highs and as increasing inflation has spurred bills in the House meant to lower the cost of groceries. Membership is normally $45, with Plus memberships costing $100 annually.

Gas at a Sam’s Club in the Washington, D.C., area is currently going for $4.85, nearly 20 cents less than the national average, which recently surpassed $5. Average gas prices in the nation’s capital are at $5.22 as of this report.

The $8 price was chosen because it was the yard line during the two-minute warning in the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl between the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals earlier this year. The last time the warehouse hosted the promotion was in February of this year.
