One protester was tackled by Secret Service on Wednesday after approaching President Joe Biden’s motorcade as it arrived in downtown Los Angeles for the Summit of the Americas.
The woman was seen crossing into the middle of the road as the motorcade drove through the intersection, heckling with a megaphone, before a member of the Secret Service tackles the woman to the ground, as seen in a video posted by a FOX 11 reporter.

The woman then appears to fight restraint from the Secret Service member while on the ground before being handcuffed.
It’s not immediately clear what the woman was yelling at the motorcade or if she will face any charges.
Biden arrived in Los Angeles on Wednesday for the summit that will welcome nearly two dozen leaders from across Latin America to discuss issues such as the economy. He also taped a conversation with late-night comedian Jimmy Kimmel.
The Washington Examiner reached out to the Secret Service for comment.
