The would-be assassin of former President Ronald Reagan, John Hinckley Jr., shared a tweet Friday promoting his concert in New York City.
“I will be singing 17 songs at my show in Brooklyn, NY. on July 8. All originals,” he wrote.

Hinckley first announced the gig in April. “Big news!! I will be performing on July 8 at the Market Hotel in Brooklyn, NY,” he tweeted. “Get your tickets while you can.”

On Wednesday, U.S. District Court Judge Paul Friedman granted Hinckley unconditional release from any existing restrictions, to begin on June 15.
According to Friedman, he is “no longer a danger to himself or others.”
