The payments, ranging from $200 to $400, will go to 738 households on May 15. The funds, disbursed through the Chelsea Eats program, are meant to subsidize food and utility costs. A Chelsea city spokesperson told the Washington Examiner that the money is loaded onto debit cards, which were issued to recipients in early March.
