Here is a guide to crucial Thanksgiving events on Thursday so that you can enjoy a feast with your entire family:

Macy’s 97th annual Thanksgiving Day Parade

The annual New York City parade will get started at 8:30 a.m. instead of 9 a.m., meaning that typical viewers will need to wake up a bit earlier this year if they wish to watch the parade in its entirety. The singer headlining this year’s parade is Cher, who recently released a new Christmas album last week titled Christmas. The parade will also have appearances by several Broadway shows, including Back to the Future: The Musical, & Juliet, and How to Dance In Ohio.

The parade is expected to end at 12 p.m. Eastern, with the entrance of Santa Claus. Viewers can watch the parade on Peacock or NBC News.

National Dog Show 2023

The 2023 National dog show is a must-watch for all animal lovers. This Thanksgiving day favorite can be streamed for free on FuboTV or on Peacock for those with a subscription. The competition starts at noon Eastern time, directly after the Macy’s parade.

NFL Football games

There are three NFL games on Thanksgiving, beginning with the Green Bay Packers playing against the Detroit Lions at 12:30 p.m. Eastern. The game can be viewed on FuboTV or Fox Sports.
