The View dedicated a segment on Friday to debate who is to blame for the US Supreme Court‘s overturning of Roe v. Wade.

With Saturday marking one-year since the nation’s highest court issuing its decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, the hosts discussed a recent comment by Vice President Kamala Harris calling for federal legislation to codify abortion protections.

FOUR ABORTION LEGAL BATTLES ONE YEAR AFTER SUPREME COURT OVERTURNED ROE V. WADE

Host Joy Behar said Congress had the chance to pass legislation in recent years but “dropped the ball” to do so.

“So what makes her think that this is going to happen now?” Behar asked.
