Conservative commentator Tomi Lahren touted the success of those who have spoken out against Target’s LGBT-themed Pride Collection merchandise.
The collection, which features more than 2,000 items, including clothing, lights, books, and furnishings, was moved from the front of the store to a more discrete location after the major retailer said it had received “threats impacting our team members’ sense of safety and [well-being] while at work.”

“Conservatives are making a difference, right?” Lahren told Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany. “For so long, a fraction of a minority of the population has been allowed to run roughshod over the rest of us, and conservatives and Christians have had to sit back and nod our heads and not say anything.”
“But ever since we were able to really tank Bud Light by about 30%, we have realized the conservative power as consumers, and we are taking that and we are running with it,” she continued. “This isn’t about being anti-gay or anti-trans. This is about standing up and making sure that families and children can go into a family shopping place, like Target once was, and not be bombarded with what I call ‘pride-paganda.’”
Target came under fire for featuring products from Abprallen, a company known to sell occult- and satanic-themed LGBT apparel and accessories.
Additionally, the retailer was criticized for selling “tuck-friendly” swimsuits.
“It doesn’t belong there,” Lahren said. “These junk-tucking swimsuits do not belong in the front of the store marketed towards children. It just simply does not belong there. And Target might have to figure that out the hard way.”
Lahren also commented on the Los Angeles Dodgers renewing their invite to a group of self-described “queer and trans nuns” for the team’s Pride Night game in June.
“Not only are baseball players predominantly conservative-leaning, but also fans are also predominantly conservative-leaning. … I would call on baseball players that are still actively playing to stand up against this,” Lahren noted. “You know, if [Black Lives Matter] and black square can have their day, or their month, or their years in the spotlight, why are conservative Christians not standing up for their values and their beliefs?“

“So, I would call on those baseball players to stand up, to do something about this. That’s the only way that this activism within sports is going to change for the better,” Lahren continued. “We need people to stand up, have intestinal fortitude, and be strong. If the other side can do it, we should be able to do it as well.”
Following the Dodgers’ backtracking, Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) compared it to Gov. Ron DeSantis’s (R-FL) feud with Disney, suggesting that the public’s support for traditional family values is why so many “applaud Ron DeSantis taking on Disney.”
