Former President Donald Trump accused FBI agents of trashing his wife Melania’s closet during the bureau’s raid of Mar-a-Lago on Monday.

Trump made the accusations in a Truth Social post following another post in which he criticized the FBI for their search. The raid was reportedly part of an investigation into documents stored away at the Florida resort after the former president left office.

“Just learned that agents went through the First Lady’s closets and rummaged through her clothing and personal items. Surprisingly, left area in a relative mess. Wow!” he wrote.

TIMELINE OF TRUMP RAID: HOW IT ALL UNFOLDED

Agents searched through the former first lady’s wardrobe during the raid, along with Trump’s private office, the New York Post reported earlier this week.

Thirty plainclothes FBI agents raided Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home Monday morning, forbidding Trump’s lawyers from entering the building during the nine-hour operation, said the report, which added that Trump’s representatives refused demands by the agents to turn off the property’s security cameras.

“We have full access to everything. We can go everywhere,” the agents reportedly told Trump’s representatives repeatedly. Eyewitnesses described the agents’ demeanor as “arrogant.”

Trump has taken to Truth Social to vent his frustrations over the raid, claiming that he had fully cooperated with the government beforehand.

“My attorneys and representatives were cooperating fully, and very good relationships had been established. The government could have had whatever they wanted, if we had it,” the former president wrote. “They asked us to put an additional lock on a certain area – DONE! Everything was fine, better than that of most previous Presidents, and then, out of nowhere and with no warning, Mar-a-Lago was raided, at 6:30 in the morning, by VERY large numbers of agents, and even “safecrackers.” They got way ahead of themselves. Crazy!”

“WITCH HUNT!” he posted an hour later.

Attorney General Merrick Garland announced Thursday that the Justice Department requested permission from a federal court to unseal the court-approved search warrant that authorized the bureau’s raid on Mar-a-Lago.
