Trump-allied lawyers reportedly tapped a group of experts from tech firm SullivanStrickler to access data from election systems in at least three key states during the fallout from the 2020 election.

Lawyer Sidney Powell dispatched a team from the firm to copy election data in Michigan, a Trump campaign lawyer had the team do work in Nevada, and the team copied data from a county in rural Georgia following the election, the Washington Post reported.

GIULIANI TOLD HE IS TARGET OF GEORGIA ELECTION INVESTIGATION: REPORT

“The breach is way beyond what we thought,” said David Cross, a lawyer for plaintiffs involved in a federal lawsuit against SullivanStrickler, according to the outlet. “The scope of it is mind-blowing.”

Many of those revelations came from a subpoena against SullivanStrickler by plaintiffs in the lawsuit Cross is helping to litigate, the outlet reported. This includes emails and other records. Cross’s team has been suing SullivanStrickler on behalf of clients, which include Georgia voters, over security concerns in the 2020 election.

Examinations in at least two counties that SullivanStrickler reviewed were allowed by the court, the report said. Several people named in documents obtained by the outlet are reportedly subject to a criminal inquiry by state officials into whether election equipment in the state was improperly breached.

The tech firm performed an analysis in Clark County, Nevada, Wayne County, Michigan, Antrim County, Michigan, and Coffee County, Georgia, according to the report. Election data from Clark County and Antrim County were subsequently showcased during MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell’s election symposium last year.

The data from Nevada is not believed to have contained sensitive information, according to the report. Data the firm collected from Georgia, however, was reportedly sensitive. Investigators from SullivanStrickler copied data from a Dominion voting system in Coffee County the data after the Jan. 6 riot, according to the report.

Dominion Voting Systems has faced allegations that it tampered with the election results to the benefit of President Joe Biden. Powell has trafficked in some of these allegations and helped spearhead legal efforts to challenge the 2020 election on behalf of Trump. The company has denied claims of wrongdoing and sued those such as Powell who have spread such claims.

A representative of SullivanStrickler did not respond to a request for comment.
