The new filing is a response to a Tuesday order from Judge Aileen Cannon, a Trump appointee, directing the former president to provide additional details for his lawsuit relating to the raid of his Florida home. The lawsuit is attempting to block the FBI from examining the files until a special master looks at them. Cannon is overseeing his case in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

The motion comes the same day the Justice Department released a heavily redacted affidavit explaining the FBI’s unprecedented raid. The document cited “national defense information” found in boxes obtained from Mar-a-Lago earlier this year as justification for the warrant to raid Trump’s resort.
