He may no longer be inside the West Wing, but former President Donald Trump may soon be soaring on the wings of “Trump Force One” alongside a 2024 debut.
Trump’s marquee Boeing 757 has been getting off the ground in recent days, making apparent test flights at a small Louisiana airport before touching down at the Palm Beach International Airport in Florida on Wednesday, CNN reported.
PENCE QUIPS ‘SOMEBODY ELSE’ THAN TRUMP FOR PRESIDENT IN 2024
Palm Beach International Airport is roughly 15 minutes from Mar-a-Lago. Trump is scheduled to hold a rally in Texas on Saturday and is expected to take his newly refurbished jet down to the Loan Star State to attend the event, according to a Real America’s Voice reporter.
For much of his presidency, Trump Force One took a backseat to Air Force One, with Trump eyeing a makeover that has since been toned down by President Joe Biden. The 31-year-old jumbo jet had been largely inactive for most of his presidency and the succeeding years, per reports.
Trump purchased the plane from Microsoft founder Paul Allen before having it laced with gold and the giant letters of his last name. The plane had been mechanically grounded at a small airport nestled in New York back in March 2021 until it was flown to Louisiana in November of last year, CNN reported.
Flight records indicate that it has made a string of short flights over recent days, including ones between 10 and 30 minutes.
Eric Trump teased back in July, “She’s back,” showcasing Trump Force One with a new fresh paint job and complete modernization. He also included a message from his father.
“During my four years in the White House, I didn’t use everybody’s favorite airplane, the Boeing 757 we campaigned on for our big 2016 WIN. Now it has been completely modernized and renovated, and looks GREAT, all done in the Great State of Louisiana, and coming back to the skies in the Fall of 2022, or maybe sooner. Get ready,” he said in the message.

The new paint job featured a patriotic makeover with a more vibrant shade of red and a U.S. flag on the plane’s tail.
Trump has been crisscrossing the country, stumping for Republicans in hot races, hoping to bolster them less than three weeks out from the midterm elections. The former president has been widely speculated to throw his hat into the 2024 presidential race, having told New York Magazine that his decision has already been made and that he is waiting to make the announcement.
