Former President Donald Trump went after Judge Arthur Engoron ahead of three of his adult children testifying in his fraud case in New York.
Donald Trump Jr. is expected to testify in the trial on Wednesday, while Eric Trump is set to testify the next day. The former president, in a post on Truth Social early Wednesday morning, called the trial “rigged” while also saying the judge should leave his children alone and that he is “a disgrace to the legal profession.”

“This Rigged Trial, brought by the Racist New York State A.G. Letitia James before Trump and developer Hating Judge, Arthur Engoron, which should have never been brought in that the so-called STAR WITNESS, SleazeBag Lawyer (for many people) Michael Cohen, admitted last week on the stand that he LIED, and also that your favorite President, Donald J. Trump, or anyone from the Trump Organization, NEVER TOLD HIM TO INFLATE VALUES ON FINANCIAL STATEMENTS, the opposite of what he told the A.G. in order to get this HOAX started. Therefore, on that fact alone, this Fake Case should be dismissed,” Trump said.
“Additionally, however, the Financial Statements Values are Conservative (LOW!), Mar-a-Lago is worth MUCH MORE than $18,000,000, there is a 100% Disclaimer Clause on the 1st page of the Statements, the Banks and Insurance Companies were paid in full, no defaults, they all made money, and there is no Victim (except me!). Leave my children alone, Engoron. You are a disgrace to the legal profession!” he added.
Donald Trump himself is expected to testify next week in the trial, and his daughter Ivanka is also expected to testify in the trial next week. Ivanka Trump was ordered to testify by Engoron last week, saying he wanted “to see her in person.”
Ivanka Trump was initially part of the $250 million lawsuit filed against the Trump Organization last year, but she was dismissed from the case by an appeals court in June.

The case against Donald Trump stems from a lawsuit New York Attorney General Letitia James filed last year alleging fraud by the Trump Organization.
She is seeking $250 million in damages, along with trying to block Donald Trump from doing business in New York. Engoron has already found Donald Trump liable for the fraud claims, but now, the nonjury trial will proceed to examine the six claims brought by James.
