Former President Donald Trump wouldn’t say who is responsible for the Nord Stream gas pipeline explosions last year in an interview with Fox News’s Tucker Carlson Tonight on Tuesday.

But says he does know who isn’t responsible.

DEFIANT TRUMP SAYS HE ‘DID NOTHING WRONG’ AND WILL ‘NEVER’ DROP OUT OF 2024 RACE AFTER INDICTMENT

“I don’t want to get our country in trouble, so I won’t answer it,” Trump explained to Carlson when asked about the pipeline blasts. “But I can tell you who it wasn’t was Russia. … It wasn’t Russia.”

Nord Stream 1 and 2 gas pipelines run between Russia and Germany but bypass Ukraine.

U.S. officials suggested Russia was to blame for the blasts in 2022. Yet, in February, Russia called on the United States to prove it wasn’t responsible for the explosions after a post from investigative journalist Seymour Hersh claimed the U.S. may have been involved. The White House denied the report.

But for now, there isn’t a definitive answer as to who is responsible for the blasts.

Trump’s interview with Carlson was his first since he was arraigned in a Manhattan court last week following his historic indictment stemming from a 2016 hush money payment with two women.

Trump has pleaded not guilty to the 34 criminal counts he faces from the indictment.
