Supporters of former President Donald Trump rallied at an intersection in Fairfax, Virginia Thursday morning ahead of his federal court appearance in Washington D.C.
The rally was coordinated by Stacy Langton, a mother in Virginia who went viral in 2021 for speaking against pornographic books in front of the Fairfax County school board. Langton told the Washington Examiner that she and other supporters had congregated at the 29/50 intersection for previous Trump rallies, as it gets busy in the morning when people make their commute into work.

“We have to stand with him,” said Langton. “This is an unbelievable, unprecedented event in our history as a nation that’s happening, and it’s very shocking, and depressing, and it makes people angry, and so we have to fight, we have to fight for Trump. Because we’re fighting for all of us too, right? If they can do it to him, they’ll do it to all of us.”
At the rally, multiple Trump supporters were seen carrying flags in support of Trump, with a couple signs asking drivers to honk if they support Trump. Multiple cars were heard honking at the protests in support of their effort and the former president.
Earlier this year, Langton organized a protest against a pride protest held by Fairfax at its Old Town Hall, where drag queens performed inside the building.
Another Trump supporter, Lin-Dai Kendal, told the Washington Examiner that she’s “outraged” over what was happening with Trump, adding that Trump was being indicted with “Trumped up charges.”
“If we don’t speak for the freedom, the one president that we’ve seen not only do a lot for the nation, but cannot be bought, does not respond to donors other than we the people, our country’s going to be lost,” said Kendal.

Trump has been ordered to appear in a Washington district court on Thursday, where he will appear in front of Magistrate Judge Moxila A. Upadhyaya for his arraignment; he is expected to plead not guilty to all four charges.
On Wednesday night, Trump condemned President Joe Biden, special counsel Jack Smith, and the “anti-Trump” city of Washington, D.C. The former president suggested the arraignment in “the latest Fake ‘case'” be held in the “politically unbiased nearby State of West Virginia” and said he has called for a “Federal TAKEOVER” due to the problems he sees in the nation’s capital.
