Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI) is being dragged on social media after parading union-made vehicles on her accounts hours before the Union Auto Workers strike began.
“Everyone’s rollin’ like a big shot when they’re riding in a union made Michigan whip,” Whitmer posted to X.

Accompanying the post was a video of the governor getting in and out and charging both Ford and Chevrolet electric vehicles.
“We have one car that was made in Alabama and another one that hails from a factory in Kentucky,” one comment on the post read.

Whitmer made the post hours before the United Auto Workers union declared a strike against all three auto companies after negotiations failed to meet an 11:59 p.m. deadline.
At least 13,000 autoworkers went on strike early Friday.
