NBA legend and Hall of Famer Charles Barkley went viral Friday when he said he would murder a family member to get his hands on the money LIV Golf players are reportedly receiving.
Barkley, 59, said he would “kill a relative” to see the amount of money Saudi Arabia is offering to golfers defecting from the PGA.
“I don’t judge other people,” Barkley said. “If someone gave me $200 million, I’d kill a relative.”

“Sir Charles” made the comment on a Friday episode of the Pat McAfee Show.
“That’s it. I’m not sure if we can do anything else after that,” McAfee, an NFL star-turned-media personality, said. “I don’t know what the next question would be.”
Barkley stood by his comment.
“Hey, I’m serious,” he said. “Phil Mickelson got $200 million and Dustin Johnson got $150 million. Hey, for $150 million, I’d kill a relative, even one I liked!”
Barkley’s family likely does not have to fear the former NBA MVP, as his net worth is roughly in excess of $50 million, according to a report.
His comments come in the wake of a riff in the golf world brought on by the rise of Saudi-backed LIV Golf, and Barkley is here for the drama.
“I want all the LIV guys on top of the leader board,” he said. “I want the PGA Tour shaking in their damn boots.”

“Listen, I’m not a religious dude,” he continued, “but I want chaos this weekend at the U.S. Open.”
