A private jet that once belonged to Elvis Presley is set to be auctioned off next month, with a starting price of $840,000.
The jet, a 1962 Lockheed 1329 JetStar, was purchased in 1976, one year before the “King’s” death.

For decades, it was stored at the Roswell International Air Center in New Mexico, but it is set to make a public appearance at Mecum’s 2023 Kissimmee auction.
The jet’s sale begins Jan. 4, 2023, and it comes with all the proper documents, including a security agreement that Presley signed.
Sporting a red exterior with silver accents, the jet also features an original red velvet-covered couch, swiveling recliner passenger seats, wood paneling, window shades, and a vintage entertainment center.

The jet also has a bathroom with a vanity and a galley with meal-prepping capacity.
In order to be shipped, the jet will need to be disassembled, however.
