Reacting to Hillary Clinton’s claim that voters simply don’t understand what is at stake in the midterm elections, the Washington Examiner’s Kaylee McGhee White suggested that the Democratic Party is getting desperate because they see the writing on the wall.
“It is ridiculous to suggest that voters are not capable of understanding the issues that they’re going to polls about, especially issues like inflation and crime, which affect them directly. They feel the effects of these things every single day,” she said on Fox Business Tonight on Wednesday.

“It is a sign of a desperate party that has clearly gotten some very bad numbers over the past couple of nights,” she added. According to White, the Democratic Party knows it will lose the House and may even lose the Senate as well.
“They have nothing to lose, and they have nothing to sell the American public,” she explained. “They cannot talk to the public about crime or inflation without admitting their policies are the reason that voters are concerned about those.”

She further discussed the recently suggested concept of “pandemic amnesty,” explaining that the public is not willing to forgive politicians for the actions they have refused to acknowledge or apologize for.
