Granholm, the former two-term governor of Michigan, embarked on a four-day electric-vehicle road trip earlier this summer to tout the White House’s green energy push.
The trip hit a bump when a Georgia family called the police on Granholm and her team when they parked a gasoline-powered car in an electric vehicle charging spot, NPR reported this week.
