The House Homeland Security Committee is holding a hearing on potential Iranian threats to homeland security.

House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green (R-TN) cited the recent outbreak of war between Israel and Hamas as the reason behind the hearing, as it exposed Iran’s commitment to the destruction of Israel and the United States. The hearing is slated to begin at 10 a.m. Eastern time.

WHAT TRUMP CAN AND CAN’T SAY NOW THAT HE’S UNDER A GAG ORDER IN CRIMINAL COURT

“The recent cowardly and despicable attacks on Israel by Hamas terrorists demonstrate once again the Iranian regime’s unending commitment to destroying Israel. These sophisticated and coordinated attacks remind us that Iran remains a threat to U.S. homeland security, and will stop at nothing to undermine our interests in the region, as well,” Green said.
