A South African man has gone viral after he was shot down while proposing to a woman in a packed McDonald’s.
The woman who rejected the proposal can be seen at the counter, and it appears she was not looking for an engagement ring on the menu, according to footage of the incident posted to social media.
The gentleman gets on one knee and presents the ring, but the woman covers her face as the large crowd cheers.

The employees seem equally shocked by the moment, the footage shows, and the woman appears to deliver some heated words in the man’s direction.
Following the failed proposal, the man seems to take the moment in stride.
