Media personality Megyn Kelly and Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) blasted liberals and the Democratic Party for exploiting the attack on Paul Pelosi as comparisons are made between it and Jan. 6 in the media.
Paul Pelosi, the husband of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, was attacked and hit with a hammer inside his home early Friday morning. The attacker, David DePape, confronted Paul Pelosi while yelling, “Where’s Nancy?” Since then, media personalities and Democratic Party officials have condemned the attack, suggesting it resembled Jan. 6 when rioters shouted, “Where is Nancy?”
After playing several recent media clips during the Megyn Kelly Show on SiriusXM Monday, Kelly called them “obvious and disgusting.”

“The cynicism of trying to exploit this attack into a Jan. 6th redo is obvious and disgusting,” Kelly said.
Her guest, the Arkansas senator, responded by noting it was not surprising given the Democrats’ lack of campaign talking points nearly one week away from the midterm elections.
“It’s because the Democrats don’t have any other issue on which they campaign,” Cotton said. “The Jan. 6 Capitol riots had many terrible crimes. I think most Americans, though, remember most about Jan. 6, 2021, that gas was $2.40 a gallon or that they could afford groceries at the end of the week or that they could pay their rent and their utilities at the end of the month, and that’s what they want to have again.”

Cotton added that the Democratic Party is trying to focus on other stories because they know they are about to pay the “electoral consequences” of their policies.
