According to the Washington Examiner’s Sarah Westwood, voters are tuning President Joe Biden out when it comes to the economy.

“He’s really destroyed his credibility on this issue of the economy already by making false predictions and painting rosy pictures that have not panned out,” she said told Fox News’s Neil Cavuto on Friday. “I don’t think that voters are really listening to him anymore when he talks about the economy.”

“The way that Biden has talked about the economy and other Democrats have tried to talk about the economy has backfired. When Biden cherry-picks economic data points that support his arguments that things are not that bad, he really deepens that perception with voters that he doesn’t understand their problems and he has no solution to fix it,” Westwood explained.

Furthermore, she claims Biden is hurting fellow Democrats who are unable to run on what his administration has done for the economy.

Westwood also made predictions about what she says will be a “red wave” next week. Discussing the tight New Hampshire Senate race between retired Brig. Gen. Don Bolduc and Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-NH), she said, “I think the fact that Don Bolduc is making this competitive speaks to how big this red wave is shaping up to be. This is someone who has been outraised by his Democratic opponent by more than 20 times.”

“If you’re seeing a candidate who has barely even advertised starting to beat a well-funded incumbent Democratic senator, you’re looking at a background that is going to deliver some really surprising wins, I think, for Republicans,” she added.
