Tennis champion Serena Williams said she planned to sing some karaoke after her final match at the U.S. Open Friday.
Williams succumbed to Ajla Tomljanovic in the third round, losing 7-5, 6-7, 6-1 in the round that lasted for three hours. At 40 years of age, Williams has been the Grand Slam Champion 23 times, but she shared her love for singing in an interview after her loss.
“I think that I’m definitely, probably going to be karaoke-ing tomorrow,” Williams told reporters at a press conference.

Williams had already hinted that she was “evolving away” from the sport in a Vogue feature story earlier this month. At the time, Williams had just lost Wimbledon and admitted she wasn’t confident about winning the U.S. Open.
