Actor Leslie Jordan died Monday at 67 after getting into a car crash.

The Will & Grace actor was driving in Hollywood on Monday morning when he crashed into the side of a building, according to Variety, which noted that it is suspected that he suffered from some sort of medical emergency at the time of the accident.

“The world is definitely a much darker place today without the love and light of Leslie Jordan,” said David Shaul, Jordan’s agent. “Not only was he a mega talent and joy to work with, but he provided an emotional sanctuary to the nation at one of its most difficult times. What he lacked in height he made up for in generosity and greatness as a son, brother, artist, comedian, partner and human being. Knowing that he has left the world at the height of both his professional and personal life is the only solace one can have today.”

Other screen roles by Jordan include Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Star Trek: Voyager, and a role in the 2011 film The Help. The actor had also served as a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2013 and returned to the show earlier this year as a guest director.
