White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt is holding a press briefing around 2 p.m. Tuesday.
The briefing comes as the United States is in its second week of Operation Epic Fury, with U.S. Central Command reporting that the military has hit over 5,000 targets in Iran, and War Secretary Pete Hegseth said Tuesday would be the most intense day of strikes on the regime. Leavitt is expected to face questions on the war’s timeline, as Hegseth has given a different timeline than that of President Donald Trump.
Leavitt’s briefing also comes as Trump steps up his support for the SAVE Act after the House Republicans’ annual policy retreat in Doral, Florida.
