Russell Vought, President Donald Trump’s nominee for director of the Office of Management and Budget, will testify before Congress for the second time. Since the first, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) met with Vought and released a statement disagreeing with the nomination.

“I can think of very few people that would have a more direct and debilitating impact on the lives of American families than Russell Vought,” the statement reads. “His record was troubling before I met with him, and he did nothing to dispel my deep concerns. In fact, when I asked him what part of Project 2025 he would disagree with, he couldn’t point to one.”

Vought previously served as OMB director in the last two years of Trump’s first administration. The hearing begins at 10 a.m.
