President-elect Donald Trump has chosen Fiserv Corporation CEO Frank Bisignano as his nominee to be commissioner of the Social Security Administration, he posted on Truth Social on Wednesday.
Bisignano is the third Cabinet choice Trump has made on Wednesday, nominating former Georgia Sen. Kelly Loeffler and former Missouri Rep. Billy Long to lead the Small Business Administration and IRS, respectively.
“I am very pleased to nominate Frank Bisignano to serve as the Commissioner of the Social Security Administration,” Trump wrote. “Frank is a business leader, with a tremendous track record of transforming large corporations. He will be responsible to deliver on the Agency’s commitment to the American People for generations to come!”
On the campaign trail, Trump vowed to eliminate taxes on Social Security.
Fiserv is a company that provides financial technology to institutions, businesses, and people. “The smarter future we are building is fueled by the potential of new technologies that will elevate the ways our clients engage with their customers and the way we work at Fiserv,” Bisignano said in a quote on the group’s website. Bisignano previously served as COO of JPMorgan Chase and CEO of First Data.

Bisignano donated hundreds of thousands to Republicans including Trump in the past, though he also donated to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and New Jersey first lady Tammy Murphy’s Senate campaign.
