Former President Donald Trump has cashed in on his mug shot photo, receiving over $7 million only days after his mug shot was released to the public.
Trump has already raised almost $20 million in the last three weeks, with over a third of that being raised since Thursday evening when his mug shot was released. On Friday alone, the former president managed to raise over $4.18 million, which a spokesperson described as the largest amount of money he has raised in his 2024 presidential campaign, according to reports.

Since the release of the mug shot, Trump has been selling merchandise for his campaign containing the photo. The items he is selling include coffee mugs, t-shirts, and signed posters.
Jen Psaki, a former White House press secretary for President Joe Biden, said on Sunday that Trump is wearing the mug shot “like a badge of honor.”

The former president is facing multiple indictments in 2023, though his indictment in Georgia is the first one to require a mugshot from him. Despite the multiple legal setbacks Trump faces, he is still far and away the lead candidate in the Republican primary race, ahead of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), and business entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy.
