Observers in Butler, Pennsylvania, estimate that as many as 100,000 people could attend former President Donald Trump‘s rally at the Butler Farm Show grounds on Saturday, nearly three months after he and several rallygoers were shot there in an attempted assassination.

Local news outlets reported that supporters of the former president camped out at the fairgrounds more than 24 hours before the rally in hopes of being the first ones let into the venue to get a front-row spot.

Following the assassination attempt on July 13, the Trump campaign has marketed Saturday’s event in Butler as his “triumphant return” and “one of the most historic moments of this entire campaign season.”

Trump campaign officials previously told the Washington Examiner the event will “celebrate the life of Corey Comperatore,” the volunteer fire chief who was killed in the attack.

Helen Comperatore, Corey’s widow, and his daughters are slated to be at the event, along with Elon Musk and Trump’s running mate, Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH).

Security personnel, including the U.S. Secret Service, have fortified the venue and will be stationed both inside and outside the security perimeter.

That includes the roof of the glass company warehouse near the fairgrounds, where 20-year-old gunman Thomas Crooks positioned himself to shoot the former president.
