Business magnate Warren Buffett is slated to sit in on his 60th Berkshire Hathaway shareholder meeting Saturday in Omaha, Nebraska.

Buffett, 93, will solicit questions during a five-hour meeting similar to the one he attended last year. While his successor, Vice Chairman Greg Abel, 61, will be there, this will be the first meeting without his business partner Charlie Munger, who died in November 2023 at 99.

During the meeting, shareholders will vote on directors for its board and some six proposals. The meeting is preceded by a festival throughout the city that includes Berkshire Hathaway-owned companies selling merchandise. Munger and Buffett Squishmallows will be for sale. A local bookstore, The Bookworm, will sell Munger’s Poor Charlie’s Almanack book. Every other year, the bookstore has sold books exclusively surrounding Berkshire Hathaway during the annual meeting weekend.
