Washington Examiner columnist Joe Concha slammed the Democratic Socialists of America, saying their new platform will bring “lawlessness.” The platform, called “Workers Deserve More,” includes eliminating the U.S. Senate, granting amnesty for all immigrants, defunding the Department of War, and replacing the Electoral College with a national popular vote for president. “If we lived in […]

Washington Examiner columnist Joe Concha slammed the Democratic Socialists of America, saying their new platform will bring “lawlessness.”

“If we lived in a classless society and governed ourselves, we could freely build a world without war or poverty. We could build a world where no one suffers for their race, gender, or religion, and everyone is free, equal, and cared for. Building this world is the guiding star of our movement,” the platform said.

“Chaos they see as a ladder,” Concha said on Fox News’s Fox & Friends First on Wednesday.

Concha said since socialists have seen a few wins in deep blue cities, they now have become “quite brazen” about what they want to do.

He said they are going to “blow up institutions that have existed for centuries,” like the Senate.

Concha said it is going to come down to establishment Democrats standing up and saying, “This is not the country we want,” when it comes down to the 2028 elections.

“You’re going to have one party ruling the country like a monarchy,” Concha said.

“If they gain power in a real way, this is what that country’s going to look like.”

Concha said young voters are especially falling into socialism because they think the “system is keeping them down,” and that they can’t afford anything, “because of the system.”

Concha also argued that the socialist message is spreading quickly because of social media.

“It’s like taking a flame thrower to dry grass, and saying, ‘The system’s broken, we have to change everything,’” Concha said.

Concha added that the messaging may have worked in blue cities so far, but it may prove more challenging in swing states.

He said in Michigan, socialist Senate hopeful Abdul el Sayed could become the nominee. Concha said if el Sayed can win in what he called a “purple state,” where President Donald Trump won twice, then “socialism is a real threat.”

Concha emphasized that as long as socialism is confined, it cannot control national elections.
