Attorney General Pam Bondi detailed how Judge James Boasberg had requested “national security information” in a recent meeting with the Justice Department, saying it is something he is “absolutely” not entitled to see.
The Trump administration’s legal battle with Boasberg comes after he ordered a pause on the White House’s deportation flights of illegal immigrant gang members. Bondi accused the chief justice of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia of attempting to control foreign policy for the United States, detailing how the judge “dragged us into court on a Saturday” without giving proper notice.
“He’s trying to ask us about national security information, which he is absolutely not entitled to!” Bondi stated on Fox News’s Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo. “We are appealing, we will be in court Monday again. We will win. We will prevail. There are 261 reasons why Americans are safer today, and that’s because those people are now in an El Salvador prison.”
Bondi also contended that the reason that the Democratic Party’s favorability is at 29% is because many members of the party did not advocate for border security, and people “want to be safe.” As such, public safety through border security has become a major part of President Donald Trump’s agenda to “make America safe again.”
The attorney general added that while litigation is ongoing with Boasberg, the Trump administration is still at work arresting “violent criminals.” She contended that the Alien Enemies Act applies “more than ever” to the United States, and that “old law is often the best law” in combating the challenges the nation faces in the present day.

Bondi then issued a stern message to Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), who has stated she wants Tesla owner and Trump ally Elon Musk to be “taken down” on her birthday next weekend. The attorney general noted how Crockett is an elected official, and needs to “tread very carefully” over her public remarks.
This past week, Bondi charged three people over vandalism of Tesla properties, with each defendant facing charges carrying five to 20 years in prison. The charges come two days after she labeled anyone engaging in Tesla vandalism as domestic terrorists.
