Eric Trump praised his wife, Lara Trump, for her recent work on the Republican National Committee, arguing that she has made it “an incredible organization.”

Lara Trump, the co-chairwoman of the RNC, has made election integrity a major focus in her position with the committee, with her husband saying that this topic is “everything” to her. He added that she made an appearance at Saturday’s White House correspondent’s dinner, during which a couple of jokes were made about her.

“The last time they did that was when Obama hit my father onstage, and then he went to win the White House,” Eric Trump said on Fox News’s Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo. “So the fact that they’re talking about her at the White House correspondent’s dinner, I think is validation that she’s doing a hell of a job, and I’m proud of her.”

Eric Trump added that his wife is “working tirelessly” in the RNC, which she has made into “an incredible organization” ahead of the 2024 presidential election. He predicted that his father will emerge as the victor.

Lara Trump is working as co-chairwoman of the RNC with Michael Whatley, the former chairman of the North Carolina GOP. Former RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel stepped down from her position on March 8.

Upon taking on her new role, Lara Trump stressed the need for the RNC to commit to legal ballot harvesting so that results of the election can be watched and tracked in real time. She added that her goal is to “have people’s trust restored in our electoral process.”

Earlier this month, Lara Trump stated that five swing states, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia, and Wisconsin, are of particular interest to the RNC to secure her father-in-law’s victory in the 2024 presidential election. Former President Donald Trump won all five of these states in the 2016 Election but lost all of them in 2020.
