Jill Biden tested negative Tuesday before returning a positive antigen test on Wednesday, another instance of a “rebound” infection, the first lady’s Communications Director Elizabeth Alexander told reporters.
“The first lady has experienced no reemergence of symptoms and will remain in Delaware where she has reinitiated isolation procedures,” Alexander said. “The White House Medical Unit has conducted contact tracing, and close contacts have been notified.”
President Joe Biden tested negative on Wednesday, the White House confirmed, after he was spotted returning to the residence from Marine One on the South Lawn with a mask hanging around his ear. The first couple had spent the weekend in Delaware.
