It’s not pizza time for House Republicans.

After an unproductive session Tuesday wherein the House of Representatives failed to elect a speaker, the House GOP canceled its scheduled grab-and-go pizza and salad.

MCCARTHY ENDS FIRST DAY OF SPEAKER’S ELECTION ON SHAKY GROUND

In an email sent by the House GOP, the pizzas and salads for members and staff were confirmed to be canceled for the evening due to the House adjourning until noon Wednesday.

GOP members are currently meeting after Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) failed to get 218 votes for House speaker on three ballots. Nineteen Republicans voted for other options on two of the ballots, and 20 voted against him on the third ballot.

McCarthy is currently seeking to flip enough of the votes overnight to get to a majority, but fierce McCarthy opponents, including Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), say they will not back down.
