Hallie Biden has been identified as the mystery Biden family member who received China-linked payments, according to bank information reviewed by House Republican investigators.

Rep. James Comer (R-KY), chairman of the House Oversight Committee, revealed new details obtained through a subpoena of the financial records of longtime Hunter Biden business associate Rob Walker. The GOP investigator revealed that “from 2015 through 2017, Biden family members and their companies received over $1.3 million in payments” from accounts tied to Walker.

Hallie Biden, the widow of Beau Biden with whom Hunter Biden had a romantic relationship, received $35,000 from accounts tied to Walker, including $25,000 that appears to have originated from a Chinese company.

“Over the course of several years, members of the Biden family and their companies received over $1.3 million in payments from accounts related to their associate, Rob Walker,” Comer said on Thursday. “Most of this money came as a result of a wire from a Chinese energy company and went not only to Hunter and James Biden but also to Hallie Biden and an unknown ‘Biden.'”

Comer released a memo stating that two months after Joe Biden left the vice presidency, the Chinese company State Energy HK Limited wired $3 million to Robinson Walker LLC, an account belonging to Walker. The Republican added that “Biden family members and their companies began receiving incremental payments over a period of approximately three months” after Robinson Walker LLC received the Chinese wire and that recipients of the money included Hallie Biden, companies associated with Hunter Biden and James Biden, and an unknown bank account identified only as “Biden.”

Comer says Hallie Biden received $10,000 from Robinson Walker LLC on Feb. 13, 2017, before the Chinese wire payment, and $25,000 on March 20, 2017.

“The Oversight Committee is concerned about the national security implications resulting from President Biden’s family receiving millions of dollars from foreign nationals,” Comer said Thursday. “We will continue to follow the money trail and facts to determine if President Biden is compromised by his family’s business schemes and if there is a national security threat.”

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), the ranking member on the committee, had revealed Comer’s subpoena for Walker’s bank records on Monday, contending that the “documents go well beyond any business deal with Hunter Biden or CEFC,” including “how often he eats at Papa John’s or has coffee at Starbucks.”

Comer responded on Thursday, saying, “Democrats described our subpoena as providing nothing more than records for Papa John’s and Starbucks, but they failed to mention the records we’ve received documenting the Biden family’s business schemes.”
