British actor Idris Elba said Monday that he believes Vice President Kamala Harris would be a “good” president.

President Joe Biden is also expected to travel to Africa later this year.

IN GHANA, KAMALA HARRRIS ‘EXCITED ABOUT THE FUTURE OF AFRICA’

Elba is of Ghanaian and Sierra Leone Creole descent, and he mentioned how important it is for Harris and other high-ranking Biden officials to visit African countries.

“I think that currently, when we think about Africa, and we think about African Americans, and we think about Ghana, Ghana has been for the last four or five years a sort of a meeting point for African Americans,” he stated. “Now, seeing the VP stand here and say, ‘Hey, I actually want to interface and do business and try and bridge gaps,’ I think it’s another step in the right direction.”
