Megyn Kelly shared her takeaways from CNN’s town hall event Wednesday with Vivek Ramaswamy.

In a Thursday episode of SiriusXM’s The Megyn Kelly Show alongside the hosts of the Ruthless podcast, Kelly lamented how often Ramaswamy was interrupted during an event on Wednesday evening. CNN anchor Abby Phillip moderated the town hall while standing onstage alone with Ramaswamy, who is vying for the 2024 Republican nomination for president.

“That Abby Philip is annoying. She is such an interrupter. Like shut the eff up. Let him make his point. If you want to fact-check him later, then do. Shut up though,” Kelly said. “Let him finish. You invited him there. Let him make his damn point. And if you watch the whole clip, it’s not like he was going on forever. Like, it was a reasonable amount of time he took to set up his point. Just f***ing let him make it.”

Kelly herself moderated the fourth Republican debate earlier this month. She went on to suggest that it was a “disservice” of Phillips to interrupt and fact-check Ramaswamy. In her opinion, it only made Kelly more interested in what Ramaswamy was trying to say.

“I, too, am, like, leaning in,” Kelly admitted. “The more she’s trying to censor what he’s saying, I’m like, ‘What’s he saying? Why is she so averse to it?'”

“It just adds more weight to his argument if it seems like he’s being censored,” the Ruthless host known as “Comfortably Smug” agreed.

At 37, Ramaswamy is the youngest candidate vying to replace former President Donald Trump, along with former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, and Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL).

Ramaswamy is the third to participate in a solo town hall on CNN, after DeSantis and Trump. The entrepreneur is also the only candidate confirmed to participate in the network’s debate in Iowa.
