Retail giant Target is under fire again for pushing LGBT products after stocking its shelves with a nonbinary children’s book.

Titled Bye Bye, Binary, the book by New York Times bestseller Eric Geron tells the story of a newborn who “refuses to conform to the gender binary and instead chooses toys, colors, and clothes that make them happy,” according to its description on Bookshop.

“This tongue-in-cheek board book is a perfect tool to encourage children to love what they love and is also a great baby shower gift for all soon-to-be-parents.”

Target came under fire earlier this year ahead of Pride month for loading its shelves with LGBT-themed lights, books, and sandals.

However, what upset conservatives was the marketing of Pride-themed items for children as young as newborns.

The addition of Bye Bye, Binary appears to have reignited some of that fury.

“Target is selling this Bye Bye Binary book for children aged 4-8,” one user posted to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.


“I guess Target haven’t learned their lesson since they lost over $9 billion from their disastrous Pride Collection.”

“Kids shouldn’t be reading s*** like this,” another post read.


“Tip of the day, if your company wants to file for bankruptcy, offer pride products,” one user commented.
