In the video, the first target is an area near a communications tower and a building. An explosion is seen and black smoke rises into the air. The second target appears to be an ammunition depot in which numerous explosions are seen after the initial blast. Men can be heard off camera laughing and cheering as the ammunition cooks off.

Snake Island, also known as Zmiinyi Island or Serpent Island, was captured by Russian troops on the first day of Russia’s invasion. At first, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky claimed the 13 Ukrainian border guards on the island had died as heroes defending the island, but later it was revealed that they had voluntarily surrendered to Russian forces.

Ukrainian border guard Roman Hrybov told the crew of the Russian warship Moskva to “go f*** yourself” when asked to surrender, leading many to believe the defenders of the island were killed in battle. The Moskva cruiser ship later sunk in the Black Sea after a Ukrainian missile strike.
