Conservative podcast host and author Ben Shapiro is talking more about what happened when he showed up at Podcast Movement, a conference held in Dallas last week.

The company Shapiro co-owns purchased a booth at the event, but organizers claim they didn’t know he was coming and that his appearance upset some attendees. They issued a lengthy apology on Twitter.

Shapiro said on his show that he came to Dallas for an unrelated event and made a “spontaneous drop by” the conference while he was in the city.

He then showed video of him shaking hands and taking pictures with attendees who had no problem with his presence. Shapiro said it was one person who complained about it in a since-deleted tweet.

“Hey @PodcastMovement what the f***. As a trans person, as a queer person, as someone with a uterus, this does not make me feel welcome. This does not make me feel safe,” it read.

Shapiro said he never had a direct interaction with them.

Shapiro then discussed how, according to the Left, he is one of the most intimidating people on Earth.

“I am absolutely terrifying. I am scary. I am threatening. I’m Darth Vader,” Shapiro joked. “If I walk into a room, you don’t know if I am going to force choke you, you don’t know if I am going to strike you down — you just don’t know. I’m a dangerous human being, according to the Left.”

Shapiro said his visit at the event was short and that he’s not sorry for making it.

He then called out other liberal podcast companies for not speaking out about this, calling their silence “disgusting.”

“The Left is cruising for a bruising, and they’re asking for it,” Shapiro added. “We’re not just going away.”
